Arun - National Champion Third Time in a row

National Jumping Six bar, Intermediate Grade, brought to the fore yet again, the skills of Maj N S Sandhu who with Twister, beat Dafedar Bhoom Singh astride Mastana . Naib Risaldar Malchand Bishnoi astride Top Shot and Havildar Kuldeep astride Haifa.
The National Jumping Championship Advance Grade had 3 challengers to the title holder Arun Maribashetty.
Havildar Girdhari Lal astride Baaz rode in first on a very challenging course and completed with 12 penalties.
Arun and CJ 15 had two drops to notch up 8 penalties.
The course proved a little tough for Lt Col Deep Ahlawat / Mirza and Naib Risaladar Sajjan Kumar / Fariyad who were eliminated.
In the second round, Havildar Girdhari had another 12 penalties to bring his tally to 24, nonetheless getting the coveted silver medal.
It was a commendable performance by Arun and CJ15, who made only one mistake in the second round, bringing their overall penalties to 12 but brought home the National Championship a third time in a row.
