FEI Recognised Course For Dressage Judges being conducted in Kuala Lumpur, ,Malysia from.3-5 December 2008
Deadline for the applications :20 Nov 2008
Members interested to do the course may send their applications to this Federation by Nov18th latest.
Applications sent must have details including recent experience on the subject.
Following is the letter received from the conducting Federation:-

Dear Sirs,

Greetings from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

We, the organiser of the KL Grand Prix and the 2006 World Cup Jumping Final, are now organising the first ever FEI Regional Dressage Forum to be held in Malaysia, and are delighted to invite you to be part of the Forum. Scheduled
from December 3 to 5, 2008, the Forum will be organised in collaboration with the FEI and the Equestrian Association of Malaysia (EAM).

The Forum will achieve the following objectives:
* To impart knowledge, inform, update and motivate riders,coaches, judges, team managers, sport officials and other stakeholders of the regional
equestrian communities
* To provide a platform for the exchange of best practices in training for riders and horses
* To provide a platform for the discussion of regional and international effective training programmes, particularly for youths
* To identify potential judges for training
* To encourage equestrians to become dressage judges so that the region will have its own judges to field at regional and international competitions
* To foster and strengthen ties among equestrian communities in the Asia-Pacific region with the aim of building a strong united equestrian force with a
bigger voice on the international stage.

The Forum, which includes a course for dressage judges, should serve as a platform for the Asian equestrian fraternity to join hands to further the
development of the sport in the region. Open to all, the Forum and the course will see delegates from at least 15 countries in the region.

Invited speakers include:
* Mariette Withages, Chairman of FEI Dressage Committee
* David Holmes, FEI Executive Sports Director
* Jan Bemelmans, one of the world?s leading trainers
