1. Please refer Sudan Equestrian Federation email dated 25 Oct 2022 vide which an invitation for the International Tent Pegging World Cup Qualifier Group (D) to be held in Khartoum, Sudan from 18-20 January 2023 was received by this NF.

2. India is in Group D comprising of some of the toughest teams like South Africa, Sudan & India. It will be a tough qualifier in relation with other groups. Only two teams qualify from this group to compete in the World Cup final to be held wef 23-26 Aug 2023 at Cape Town, South Africa. The list of probable athletes based on the results of NEC Tent Pegging 2021-22 as per Technical Guidelines 2021 for selection of Indian Team for World Cup Tent Pegging qualifiers is placed opposite please.

3. It is pertinent therefore to hold two coaching camp for the probable riders before and after final selection of riders for the qualifiers as per details given below :-

(a) Selection trial – 05 Dec - 09 Dec 2022

(b) Coaching camp for the selected team– 12 Dec 2022 to 12 Jan 2023

(c) Venue – Stallion Riding Club, Delhi Cantt

4. The selected riders must attend the coaching camp with their horses. The riders must make their own arrangements for stay. The horses will camp at Stallion Riding Club Delhi Cantt. All vaccination/vet requirement of the horses to be completed before the horses enter the camp which will be the responsibility of Individual riders. The stabling arrangement will be made by the Camp Commandant. Participants will be requested to contact the Camp Commandant for any support, help and information. 5. It is recommended that the following coach and asst coach be appointed by the federation for these selection trial and coaching camps:-

(a) Coach - Col SS Solanki (Retd)/Comdt Naresh Tehlan 

(b)       Asst Coach - Mr Raghuvanshi/Ris Ajay Sawant/SI Youngbir Singh/Capt Ritika Dahiya

(as per availability to be obtained from individual)

(Note: Assistant coaches for training as future probables coaches of EFI)
