REL QUALIFICATION FOR NEC TENT PEGGING 2020-21
Start: 2020-10-27 04:40:25
1. Due to present COVID-19 scenario and various requests received from athletes/stakeholders on REL qualification required for NEC Tent Pegging 2020-21, it has been decided that RELs as stipulated in REL guidelines 2020 will be mandatory for NEC Tent Pegging 2020-21. However, the following exceptions are hereby granted by EFI:-
(a) As a onetime measure since the NEC 2019-20 has been cancelled, all athletes who had achieved the requisite MER for same are eligible to participate in NEC Tent Pegging 2020-21 after recalculating the MERs at reduced scores of 18 as mandated in current guidelines.
(b) Org who desire to hold RELs for athletes to facilitate them achieve requisite MER for NEC Tent Pegging as per REL Guidelines 2020 are permitted to do so in case their athletes do not meet the criteria as mentioned in para 1 (a) above.
2. This NSFs Notice on the subject published on 14 Oct 2020 is hereby withdrawn.
