Equestrian Federation of India

1. As per communication received, the FEI has collected CHF 3 million approx for development funding through FEI Solidarity including just over CHF 1 million through the newly created FEI COVID-19 Relief Fund for National Federations that have been severely impacted by the ongoing pandemic.

2. The FEI solidarity support will provide targeted financial assistance to boost grass roots equestrian activities at riding clubs and schools, particularly the care and upkeep of horses.

3. Assistance will be allocated as follows:-

(a) Help Riding Clubs/Stables/Schools to recreate activities such as riding lessons, training camps, competitions.

(b) Help maintain Riding Club’s horses during a certain period (feed for horses etc)

(c) Help maintain the personnel working in Riding Clubs/Stables/Schools for a certain period (contribution to income of registered Grooms, Farriers, Instructors etc)

(d) Other (within general objective defined above, as considered by the FEI on a case by case basis).

4. In this connection, FEI COVID-19 Relief Fund information and Application is attached herein for your info of all stakeholders and necessary action.

5. Interested stakeholders are requested submit the application alongwith a detailed justification by 25 Oct 2020 for our necessary action please.
